A good place for the money. We followed it up with a stay in a place 50% more expensive, nice but..
Aspectos positivos: Terrific value for a stay in Loreto. Clean, safe, reasonable quiet. Room was decent, comfy bed, clean and well equipped washroom. Had a small room that was great for storing luggage to gain some room. Bikes available but pretty old, kayaks available we didn't use them. A 20 minute walk to downtown.
Aspectos negativos: Kitchen was sparse. Needs some bowls, a decent knife would be nice. There is a well equipped common outdoor kitchen but we were mostly doing small breakfast prep in the room.

Great little hotel - we enjoyed our stay!
Aspectos positivos: We had a 2-bedroom suite at the hotel - it was comfortable and clean. The pool area was lovely, also very clean. We appreciated the espresso machine in the communal kitchen. The staff were amazing (Saul and Elizabeth). Recommendations for a local taxi driver and dive shop were also terrific. The town and waterfront are both within an easy walk of the hotel. We felt safe walking everywhere.
Aspectos negativos: The hotel offers sit-on kayaks, bicycles and snorkelling equipment for guests use. The bicycles were ok for short jaunts but not in great repair. Everything has been well-used for many years. The closest beach (Playa la Negrita) is somewhat rocky, and people are allowed to drive vehicles on it - it wasn't our favourite beach. There was a huge police presence in the town including vehicles with officers with machine guns.

Aspectos positivos: Super friendly, helpfull hosts. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Sheets, towels, shower, bed all excellent. Heated pool is amazing.

We loved it there. Jeff and Linda were amazing hosts and we would stay there again.
Aspectos positivos: Breakfast was not included but there was a wonderful, well equiped common kitchen that we used a couple of times. We stayed in the penthouse and a kitchenette was provided with a large refrigerator. We barbequed downstairs. There was a partial view of the water and they provided bicycles for guests to ride. The Malecon was within walking distance.
Aspectos negativos: We wished maps of Loreto were provided, but we found our way with maps on line. Sometimes it's just nice to have an old fashion paper map. They did; however, have many brochures and excursions and restaurant info.

A lovely retreat in Loreto.
Aspectos positivos: We stayed in the room on the second story with a large patio with cooking facilities and also a 3rd floor area with a hammock and loungers. The hosts were great and extremely informative. We used the free hotel bikes for roaming around town. It was a far nicer place to stay than the one used by our kayak tour company that was on the beach but not well maintained.
Aspectos negativos: It was a bit far from the center, but with the bikes, this wasn't an issue.

Aspectos positivos: The location of the property was 3 minutes away from the malecon and the marina. It was short walking distance to the plaza for shopping and eating. You have access to bikes on the property to get around. The pool was amazing! Our room had a kitchen but we ended up cooking/barbequing in the outdoor kitchen which was fabulous. Cindy who is the host that lives there was fantastic. She has all of the connections you would need to truly experience Loreto. Also if you ever need anything for your room she had access to get!

I highly recommend this hotel . It was quiet, comfortable and had a helpful staff.
Aspectos positivos: The large rooms were comfortable , with a kitchen . The beautiful pool was outside the door .

Aspectos positivos: Very spacious and well built compound with pool and great community kitchen. Perfect for family reunion or several families. Our large suite included a well appointed kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Bicycles available. We would stay here again.
Aspectos negativos: The lodging is not on the beach but it is only a short walk to the beach and Malecon.

Great alternative to large resort hotels
Aspectos positivos: Clean and comfortable. Although staff was not onsite 24/7 Saul the manager was around every day and always available by phone/text. He was extremely responsive to our requests. Liked the fridge coffeemaker and microwave in the room. Although we didn’t use it the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and bbq is a plus. Large supermarkets are within walking distance. Pool is heated to a comfortable 80. Great place to hang around during the day
Aspectos negativos: Although it is within walking distance of the main town and restaurants in the evening in November it is dark by 6. The streets have uneven sidewalks and in some places are dark. Our solution was to walk to the hotel along the malecon which was well lit and had good walkways. It is a more pleasant walk. Never felt unsafe
